Of all of these, the only one to use is the last one. The reason why, is because it displays the keyword that the blog is about in the URL, which is critical to getting posts ranked. So go to the permalink settings in your wordpress back office, choose “Custom,” and paste this in: /%postname%/%post_id%/
If you change the permalink structure later on, it will retroactively change it on all of your posts, making your promotional efforts meaningless, because any links you have out there will all be wrong! So it is vital you get this step correctly early on.
3. Mistake number three is another foundational one; not creating a good title, description, and keyword list. This step is critical because when your post is ranked, and a searcher sees the results in the search engines, all they will see is the title, description, and URL of the search results. Your title, description and keywords all work together, to get your blog ranked, but also must read like a Pay Per Click ad, compelling visitors to click on your URL rather than your competitors.
4. Lack of keyword research for each individual post is mistake number four. Bloggers usually just want to jump in, create a post, and hit the publish button. But slowing down to research the right keywords for the post makes all the difference.

Using “blogging marketing” in a sentence is a little weird, but if 2,600 people a month search for it, it sounds like a great “long tail” keyword, so I incorporated it into my title and first paragraph, then again a little bit throughout the post. 5. Mistake number five is simple- laziness! Most people don’t post content to their blog nearly often enough.
